Years Active: 1940 to 1961

Eero Saarinen was a Finnish born American architect. His most iconic design is probably the St Louis Arch, but there’s a great good chance you’ve sat in one of his classic executive chairs or ate dinner off of the tulip table that he designed for Knoll in the early ’50s.
