At Modern Sofas, we’re always on the hunt for new sofa designs. From the most classic to the most modern designs, the sofa is not only the essential piece in a living room set but it also makes any other room look more comfortable and inviting. Although we prefer the cozy yet luxurious velvet sofas, today we found one that will certainly impress you: The Inchworm lounge sofa. This sofa was designed by Alexandra Knyazevoy,  a student of Furniture Design at Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry, as her graduation project. Take a look!

This lounge sofa has a metal frame holding a thick cushion that wraps around anyone who sits on it. This unique sofa is supposed to resemble a warm hug from a loved one, giving you that comforting feeling. And you can either place it inside next to the fireplace or outside to lounge during a warm Summer night.

Although we have to admit this lounge sofa is not the most stylish furniture piece ever – for that, check here! -, it can definitely fit a contemporary home decor or your secret room to lounge and relax. It’s also the perfect space to take a nap so that’s always a good option.
